Customer: Sore toe.
JA: What is the dog's name?
Customer: Simon.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Simon?
Customer: He's a boxer/American bulldog mix, four years old, in otherwise excellent health. Lime test negative yesterday.

The initial dose for Simon is 0.1 mg/lb followed by 0.05 mg/lb daily as needed. This is equivalent to 7.4 mg initially and 3.7 mg daily thereafter for a 74 lb dog.

7.4 mg/1.5 mg/mL = 4.9 mL = one measuring teaspoon and 3.7 mg, then, = 1/2 of a measuring teaspoon.

Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

No problem. I'm going to get a new syringe tomorrow if I can't find mine by then. Thank you again from me and Simon!
