My 6 month old pit ate aluminum foil. it had pork rib grease

Customer Question

my 6 month old pit ate aluminum foil. it had pork rib grease and may have eaten a bone. shes eaten a little since and the first night vomited several times. shes lethargic and i can see shes not feeling too hot. drinking some water. gave her a little liquid coconut oil, about a tablespoon. i cant afford to take her to the vet! I'm worried sick. this is day 2
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. This sounds like it might be serious. I'll let the Veterinarian know what's going on ASAP. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the dog?
Customer: shes played a little with my other dog. she is just very quiet. ate a good bowl of her raw diet food.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today.

How much foil was it?

Can she keep water down?

Are her gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on her belly, does she have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Has she had any diarrhea or black stool?
