I have an adopted rescue dog, neutered male, Golden/Chow est' age is 7-9 yrs. Overall he appears to be in good health. The past 3-4 days he has been compulsively licking the inner-side upper portion of his left foreleg. He is now down to bare skin which looks very raw. I have looked closely and cannot detect any bites or injury of any sort. Used a derma, shampoo to clean area and applied Sulfodene 3-Way all purpose ointment to the area, which he doesn't like; licks off stat an
