Chesapeake bay retriever. Believe he ate a toothpick two days ago. Yesterday he had vomit x 1, diarrhea X1. Wouldn't eat or drink and could tell was uncomfortable. Gave him some pumpkin with food. Has since passed the tooth pick. Seems fine other than one episode of diarrhea tonight. Before tonight had some solid stool. Worried of possible perf of bowel or damage. What signs/symptoms should I watch for ?

Did it have sharp edges?

How is he since? Still off food?

What did the diarrhea look like?

Any belly discomfort or paling of his gums?
