My 18 month old female pit has been excessively drooling?

Customer Question

My 18 month old female pit bull has been excessively drooling?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. The Veterinarian will know what to do with the drooling. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Mia
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Mia?
Customer: She threw up a lot of blood Monday. I thought may have been something she ate. I gave her chicken noodle soup and Pedialyte for the first couple of days. Her energy and appetite is normal but she has been heavily drooling since then though.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today.

How long has she has these signs?

Any further bloody vomiting episodes?Any diarrhea?

Are her gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on her belly, does she have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Could she have eaten something she should not have (ie bones, toys, rocks, plants, chemicals, etc)?

Is she up to date on her vaccines?
