Customer Question

Hi Pearl,
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is the matter with the dog?
Customer: Winston is a6 year old Cavier and he doesnt want to walk and he wont eat or drink and drooling.
JA: Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?
Customer: Yes I have checked his limbs and back. We do have stairs and sometimes goes down them fast. I think he may have strained something. But Im concerned about him not eating or drinking. Is he in pain, he doesnt yelp when i examined him
JA: The Veterinarian will know what to do. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the dog?
Customer: No but we dont have a vet near us that open
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Veterinarian about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello and thank you for your question. I am a Veterinary Nurse with over 15 years experience and I have assisted in the care of many pets with this particular medical concern. It would be my pleasure to assist you today. Is it possible for me to obtain some additional information from you about your companion?

1) Any vomiting?
2) Diarrhea?
3) When was the last time that he ate?
4) Is he allowed to jump onto and off of furniture?
5) Does he walk? If so, is it slow and hunched up/over?
6) When was he last normal?
7) Any history of medical issues?
