hi i put violet to my dog because she was scratching too much but she lick and i think shes poisoned what should i do

Can you clarify what "violet" is, please? Gentian violet? If so, it's an irritant to the gastrointestinal tract and can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea which are the most common manifestations of toxicity. It should be diluted by offering her tasty fluids such as milk, cream, broths, or bouillons. In rats, it took an egregious amount (300 mg/lb) of gentian violet to cause death in 50% of them - far more than your dog would have ingested.
