I found my dog chewing on a HotShot ant trap, he's a 100 lb

Customer Question

I found my dog chewing on a HotShot ant trap, he's a 100 lb boxer/great dane mix. Anything I should worry about? he only chewed on it for less than a minute and I took it from him

There's rarely enough insecticide in these traps to intoxicate a dog - much less a 100 lb hunk o' dog such as he. It doesn't sound as if he ingested any of the contents of the trap in any event. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
