I just got a rescue dog from missippi
It cleared quarantine but know has runny nose nausea, vomiting and lethargy
Nose is warm
Ears are cool
Won't eat or drink
Vet can't see her until tomorrow
Could she have distemper
No seizures but much different from dog we got on Saturday
She is one year old Donbie mic

Esther, canine distemper needs to be an important differential diagnosis when both Lanie's respiratory and gastrointestinal systems are affected particularly if her vaccine history were absent when she was rescued. It's certainly not the only differential diagnosis, however. She could suffer from the infectious tracheobronchitis complex and be heavily parasitized with hookworms, whipworms, and roundworms just as well. Seizures as seen with the neurologic form of distemper can be the first symptom of distemper or arise anytime after exposure.
