Customer Question
Hi, our 9 week old...
Hi, our 9 week old German Shepherd / Lab puppy just had, what we are guessing, a leg injury. He was running down our carpeted stairs, and hurt his leg coming down the last step. He began to whine very loudly, and he wasn't able to walk for about 5 minutes. After sitting with him for about 10 minutes, he was able to continue walking with an obvious limp. We're not sure if his leg is broken or strained. In any case, how should we help him?

Thank you! Would it be possible to chat with a live video call? FaceTime or Skype?

Posted by JustAnswer at customer's request) Hello. I would like to request the following Expert Service(s) from you: Live Video Call. Let me know if you need more information, or send me the service offer(s) so we can proceed.
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Altman, Veterinarian replied 1 year ago

I am sorry I cannot help with a phone call. The states/province I am licensed in do not allow me to communicate via phone calls, unless I have previously physically examined a pet. I could lose my license for doing so. If you would like I can opt out and see if there is another veterinarian that can make calls.

Could we be put in touch with a vet who can make video calls, please? Thank you in advance.

OK, please be patient with this because there are only a few veterinarians who can assist with this and please do not respond again as I will not be able to reply...good luck to you and your new addition!
