Ask a Dog Vet and Get Answers to Your Dog Health Questions
Hello. Thanks for writing in. My name is***** and I would be happy to help you. I am not set up to do phone calls but would be happy to answer any questions you do have online. Yes, it is very possible for dogs to get very ill if they drink from a septic field. In most cases, if caught early, they can usually be treated with hospitalization and supportive care if they fall ill, but if left untreated, it can be deadly. I all depends on what type of bacterial contamination, toxins and foreign bodies may be present in the area. Some can be worse than others. I hope this answers your questions. If not, please let me know.
My goal is to make sure that you get all your question answered and all the information you need. If you are satisfied with my answer, PLEASE RATE IT.
