My year old labrador who weighs 90-100 pounds tore the lid

Customer Question

My year old labrador who weighs 90-100 pounds tore the lid off my 2 oz container of Australian Dream Arthritist Pain Relief Cream. When I discovered it; he had ingested the entire container. This was a new bottle. I have given him 3 tablespoons of Pepto-Bismol stomach relief. What else should I do??

I would induce emesis if Winston ingested that cream within 2 hours. That's done by dosing him with 45 mL (3 measuring tablespoons) of 3% hydrogen peroxide by means of a small poultry baster placed between his cheek teeth and cheek. He should vomit within 15 minutes. If not, the same dose should be adminstered once again. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

I'm just following up on our conversation about Winston. How is everything going?
