Hi there. My name is ***** ***** I'm happy to help you with your question today. Just like an in person consult, I have some questions of my own to help ensure I give you the best advice possible....

How long has Zander been doing this?

What breed of dog is he?

Do you know when the last time he defecated was?

Has he been doing any scooting of his butt on the ground?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I took him to the vet, as they opened before I got your reply- it was an problem with his anul gland
Expert:  Lisa replied 1 year ago.

That's sort of what I suspected it was going to be.

I'm happy to hear that Zander is going to be on the road to recovery.

In the could add a little canned pumpkin to his diet to help with the anal glands. The fiber in the canned pumpkin (just plain canned pumpkin, not the pumpkin pie filling) will help bulk up his stool, which will help express the anal glands naturally when he defecates.

I hope he's feeling better soon.
