Ask a Dog Vet and Get Answers to Your Dog Health Questions
My name is***** have been a veterinarian for 11 years. What is your question tonight?
Ok. Unfortunately, paracetamol can cause internal bleeding, so it is generally not recommended to be given to animals. I would call your primary care veterinarian or go to an emergency clinic as soon possible. ***** *****kely needs blood work to evaluate his liver and kidneys. Ketoconazole effects the liver, and paracetamol can as well. I hope that this is not the case for Jack, but he needs to be seen right away.
I am very sorry that I cannot give you better news.
