Customer Question

She is 7 weeks old. She has slowly got to where she can't balance or stand
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is wrong with the dog?
Customer: She can not stand up. 7 weeks old.
JA: Where does the dog seem to hurt?
Customer: I don't think she hurts. Although she's crying. She's scared. She can't balance
JA: OK. No obvious pain. The noise must be worrying. I'll connect you to the Veterinarian. What is the dog's name?
Customer: Lutzie
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Lutzen?
Customer: She was the runt
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Veterinarian about your situation and then connect you two.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

How long has she had these signs?

Any retching, gagging, lip licking or vomiting?

Any chance of head trauma or injury?

Any head tilting or circling?

Are her gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

Could she have eaten something she should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, etc)?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It started yesterday morning. She got to where she was not eating. She vomited 1 time when we gave her some chicken broth. Her tongue and gum are pale. Her head does lay to the side. We don't think she could have got any poison

The tip of her tongue is also poking out

Thank you,

Are her gums paler then normal for her or compared to your own?

Never mind. She just passed away. We were heading for the animal hospital.

I am sorry to hear that she has, it did sound like oxygen compromise and potential blood loss.

I will send your question back to customer service.

Thank you for your help. It's sad. It escalated quickly. Since we started talking she had a tarry stool. Right before she died. I'm thinking internal bleeding. It was such a smart puppy
