Customer Question

My 50ish lb boxer puppy got into a bag of Thomas bagel thins and ate about 7 at 11:30. He did not finish the bag so I am assuming he stopped when he was full. Since then, he has been playing fine, drinking water, has pooped. He also does not appear to be bloated and is allowing me to feel his stomach without whining or pulling away. Do I have to worry about bloat it would symptoms have manifested by now? He did gag a few times about 15 minutes ago but it was after he had been playing rough with our other dog.

Thankfully the bagel thins aren't toxic and 7 of them is just a snack for a 50ish lb dog. There's no reason to believe that they would be any more bloat-predisposing than his regular food. "Watchful waiting" is appropriate and I would expect him to remain unaffected. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
