What might be the cause of my dog vomiting a clear liquid? He shows no signs of pain or discomfort and has a good appetite.

Hello. Thanks for the question.

There are a lot of things that can cause vomiting in dogs. Without any change in appetite or other signs, I would guess it's a little gastroenteritis or even some gastric reflux. You can pick up some over the counter Pepcid (Famotidine) and give that 1-2 times daily to see if it helps. You can give 1/2 of a 10 mg tab every 12-24 hours.
