Friend, the dose for diphenhydramine in dogs is 1mg per pound body weight every 12 hours. So, for a 5-6 lbs dog the dose with a 12.5mg/5ml is 2 mls (5 lbs) or 2.4 mls (6 lbs) every 12 hours.
