Hello,

This is Dr. KV. I would like to help with Tru. Please give me a moment as I type a reply...

Expert:  Katie Volat replied 1 year ago.

Young large breed dogs can have elevated phosphorus levels as a result of growth, so this may not be a concern.

Tell me about the cysts on her back....does she scratch them? Do they seem painful?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No they are not painful and she never scratches at them. Vet drained one a little and she never even cried
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The fluid was watery with a little blood

These "cysts" could be contributing to the elevated white blood cell count. If cysts are inflamed, dogs are often prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. Has your vet given Tru any medications?
