Customer Question

10 year old male Shih Tzu woke up yesterday with white cornea and is not eating and very lethargic; just had surgery to remove round growth the size of chick pea from above right eye 5 days ago. Any ideas??

Coralo, a white (opaque) cornea indicates severe inflammation of the cornea and required the attention of Kofi's vet at your earliest convenience. Corneal trauma (ulceration, laceration, abrasion) and an increase in intraocular eye pressure (glaucoma) are the important differential diagnoses at this time. Did her vet check Kofi's eye pressure and stain her cornea with fluoroscein yesterday?

I'm just following up on our conversation about Kofi. How is everything going?
