Customer Question

My 12 year old Labrador, who is otherwise very active, has been lethargic and losing control of his legs in the past few days. A week to 10 days ago, he was aggressively biting his left rear. He has done this every year at this time, because we have chlorinated ponds and he spends time everyday in the ponds. He has clearly changed in the past couple of days.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

Does he seem weak on his legs or has he lost use/movement?

Any chance of over activity, trauma, slips or falls recently?

Any changes to the skin where he was biting? Any issues with his anal glands?
