Hi. Welcome to Just Answer. My name is***** Thank you for your question. For the most part, there is going to be no problems with this. The eating of a maggot will cause no problem. Could eating food that is past its prime cause some stomach upset or diarrhea? That would be the most probable consequence. There isn't anything that needs to be done as far as treatment. Basically watching for any GI upset and then treating that is needed. I wouldn't be overly worried with this.
