Hello, Yes, a dog can take Etodolac. However, is it always safe? NoEtodolac, can also have side effects. I would also add, it is not a typical first drug a vet reaches for in pain management. Many vets use Tramadol or Gabapentin instead. But, here's some more information about Etodolac. The link provides all sorts of information, but I would strongly discourage using this drug without consulting your primary veterinarian, and especially if a basic blood test for overall health has not been done in the past 6 months.
