Customer Question

I was gardening late yesterday, planting flowers, afterwards my pomernian went to same area, preen applied approx. 1 mo before, cedar mulch on top, dog was eating something- may have ingested some of the preen. He wasn't acting like himself, realized what he may have eaten , gave 10 ml peroxide to induce vomiting- he did quite a bit about 10H
minutes later. He seemed like he was doing better, but it's now 3:30 in the morning- woke because I heard him panting - he is still not well. Is it normal for him to still feel sick after vomiting so much?

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me: Do you think he brought up all he ate?Can he keep water down? Are his gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky? If you press on his belly, does he have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?
