Customer Question

My puppy a 10 week old border collie ate some naproxin.
JA: IÂ’m sorry to hear that. The Veterinarian will know if your Border collie will be able to digest that. What is the Border collie's name?
Customer: Not sure how many were in the bottle. Her name is sam.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Sam?
Customer: She is throwing up but have not seen any pills in it.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Veterinarian about your situation and then connect you two.

Not sure if I should go to the emergency vet or wait till in the morning to see my normal vet.

The most common sign of naproxen toxicity is vomiting.... however it can also cause significant kidney damage and anemia. Given that it sounds like she could have eaten quiet a few and could have toxicity she needs to see an emergency vet ASAP

Even if it has been hours and she has vomited, she will benefit from activated charcoal and IV fluids.
