Hi Dr. Andy, I put a small amount of sweet almond oil on my hands and rubbed them together. Shortly after was playing with my 11 lb Yorkie and she licked my hand.
Should I contact my vet?

Hello, this is Dr. Jess. I am sorry to hear about your pup! Is she acting normally so far? Almonds are not toxic to dogs, but any oils can be high in fat and can cause GI upset. Hopefully if she just licked some of the oil off your hands, she ingested a tiny amount which wouldn't cause much of an issue. Does she have any signs of tummy upset yet? Vomiting or drooling excessively?
