He is going into the Vet's Friday morning but I thinkhe has a bladder infection. Frequent urination, very thirsty and extremel smelly urine. I have liquid D mannose and wondered if I could give that to him...

Yes, dogs can take D-mannose.

Usually 76mg per 20 pounds of dog every 12-24 hours.

If he is drinking more water, the infection may have progressed into his kidneys.

So if at all possible I would try to get him to a vet tonight or tomorrow.

The sooner the better.
