Hello I am Dr. Joey. Thanks for trusting me to help you and your pet today. I am a licensed veterinarian with over 16 years of experience. I look forward to working with you.
This does sound concerning. Unfortunately Buddy's symptoms are not specific and I am not certain if his unwillingness to walk is because he is weak (such as could come from anemia or an electrolyte problem) or from a larger internal problem (e.g., liver/kidney disease, heart disease, etc) or from pain in his back/spine. I am not sure if this would be related to Lyme disease, but if Buddy had severe Lyme disease, then dogs with this issue are prone to kidney problems later.
If he progresses/worsens today then I must recommend you have him seen on an emergency basis today. If he seems stable overnight but then has these symptoms tomorrow he really must be seen by his veterinarian for an exam and some testing. I do wish I could be more specific for you on what exactly is going on, but I am not sure.
I am at a point I need to know what questions you have. I hope that the information I provided has been helpful.
