my toy poodle has warts and sometimes the groomers cut too close to them. can i use a otc med on my dog to get rid of them.

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. I believe that you're referring to sebaceous gland tumors common in older dogs which are usually solitary, firm, elevated, wartlike or cauliflower-like growths that range from a few millimeters to several centimeters in diameter. Unfortunately, these can't be removed with OTC wart removers. Surgical excision (laser ablation or cyrosurgery) of these benign sebaceous gland tumors is usually curative for cosmetically unacceptable lesions.
