I'm sorry to hear of this with Gizmo. It's reasonable to assume that his polydipsia (increased thirst) has resulted in his polyuria (increased volume of urine) which then is causing overfilling of his bladder, urgency to urinate and his inappropriate urination in your home. There are quite a few causes of polydipsia/polyuria but his history of poison ingestion strongly suggests that his kidneys and/or liver has been damaged. Damage to either of those major organs will result in those symptoms. Gismo's vomiting, lethargy, and anorexia are worrisome for failure in either of those organs. His vet will want to thoroughly examine Gizmo and perform diagnostics in the form of blood and urine tests. You can't know how to help Gizmo until the etiology of his symptoms is clarified. Do you recall which poison was ingested 3 months ago?
