Customer Question

He threw up his dinner and is now shaking his head as if his ears itch.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did the dog eat anything unusual?
Customer: Not that I can tell...
JA: What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Biscuit -- age about 3
JA: What is the dog's name?
Customer: Biscuit
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Biscuit?
Customer: Not that I can think of. He's a terrier mix. He's on 10 mg. of Prozac -- but has been for about a month.
JA: Our top Veterinarian is ready to take your case. Just pay the $5 fully refundable deposit and I'll fill the Veterinarian in on everything we've discussed. You can go back and forth with the Veterinarian until you're 100% satisfied. We guarantee it.

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

Could he have eaten something he should not have (ie medications, plants, chemicals, bones, etc)?

Can he eat or drink since the vomit? Can he keep it down?

Are his gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, does he have any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Has he had any diarrhea?

Any changes (redness, sores, odor, etc) in the ears?
