I'm sorry to hear of this with Elwood. Epistaxis (bloody nose) in a 12 year old all too often indicates neoplasia (cancer) in the sinus(es) or nasal cavity. Alternatively, thrombocytopenia (decreased blood platelets) or an anticogulant rodenticide poisoning should be considered . Stomach bloating is more nonspecific; it can indicate gas filled bowel loops or an effusive abdomen - fluid (blood?) accumulating in the abdominal cavity. Runny stool is yet more nonspecific.

It's important to address the most serious symptom first and that's Elwood's nasal bleeding. His abdomen can be "tapped" (needle aspirated) to see if the bloating is, indeed, due to fluid accumulating and, most important, if that fluid is blood and related to his nasal bleeding. Time is of the essence in these cases; please have Elwood attended to by a vet at your earliest convenience. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
