Customer Question

I suspect my dog ate some tomato plant fertilizer and also a lot of grease from the bucket on the grill. He has eaten but is not acting like himself and he's breathing quickly when resting. What do I do?

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. It should have been. May I have an update on Brody, please? Ther small amount of fertilizer isn't expected to be a serious toxin in dogs but can cause transient gastrointestinal distress in the form of inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea. The grease similarly is expected to cause GI distress and in some dogs will induce acute pancreatitis.
