Hello,

I am sorry to hear what happened to Petey. My name is Rebecca. I am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.

How long ago did he get this?

You should induce vomiting as soon as possible because of both the chocolate and the raisins, especially if it happened less than an hour ago. I would either go to the ER or give him 1 to 2 teaspoons of peroxide in some milk or water ( not directly down his throat) at home.

If he got the trail mix more than an hour ago, then he should also be given activated charcoal, and his kidney function be monitored for raisin toxicity.

Let me know what else I can answer and how he is doing.
