If he properly chewed it then all we can do is monitor. We are looking for digestive tract upset such as vomiting, diarrhea or lack of appetite. IF this should develop then we begging to worry he either swallowed a piece that is not moving through and has become obstructed, or eating this has upset set his system. Sometimes the vomit/diarrhea can be transient as it passes through so long as he is not obstructed with a large piece. Sometimes a dog can develop secondary pancreatitis.
How is he doing at this point?
