Customer Question
Hi Rebecca - my 10...
Hi Rebecca - my 10 yr old male golden does not want to eat his Wellness dry food. He never refused food & always gobbled it. We just returned from a week away, there was a very mature house sitter here taking good care. I'm wondering why he's not eating

Hello, I am afraid that the expert you have requested is not currently available. Still I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with your wee one today.

If you would like my help, can you tell me:

Did the sitter feed him his Wellness food while you were away? Any treats or other foods?

Did they note any issues with his eating?

Any retching, gagging, lip licking, drooling, or vomiting?

Is he drinking normally?

Are his gums nice and pink (not white/pale)? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, does he have any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?
