I might dose a 20 lb Sammy with 1 mg of oxycodone. 10 mg is quite an overdose. If it's been less than 2 hours since Sammy could have ingested the oxycodone, I recommend inducing emesis with 4 measuring teaspoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide dosed with a small poultry baster placed between his cheek teeth and cheek. He should vomit within 15 minutes. If not, you should repeat the same dose. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
