Hello, this is Dr. Jess. I am sorry to hear about your dog! You can induce vomiting with 3% hydrogen peroxide- the kind used to clean wounds. Do you have this at home?

If so, for a 25 pound dog, you can give between 15 and 20 ml of peroxide orally using a syringe/turkey baster/etc. 5 ml is equal to 1 teaspoon. Give your dog the peroxide, and then walk him around in circles to try to induce vomiting. If he doesn't vomit within 10 to 15 minutes then you can repeat this procedure ONE time (don't repeat more than that, as it can cause damage to the espohagus). A newly opened bottle of peroxide works best, ***** ***** you don't have one available, you can use what you have.
