I'm reading about the paralumbar fat pads. My dog has this

Customer Question

I'm reading about the paralumbar fat pads. My dog has this most prominently on one side, his left, just above the hips, bottom of the back bone. Same thing or should I be concerned that it's more prominent on one side than the other?

Hello, I'm Dr. Deb and will do my best to help you today.

I probably wouldn't be too concerned if there's an asymmetrical appearance to Doyle's paralumber fat pads..if that's what he has. But do you think you could send me a picture? The following link walks you through the process:

There may be a slight delay after I receive your picture (if you're able to send one) since I have to type up a response to you. Thanks for your patience. Deb
