I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. I might prescribe this diuretic to dogs at a dose of up to 1 mg/lb. Acute overdose may cause elctrolyte and water balance problems, central nervous system effects (lethargy to coma and seizures), and gastrointestinal effects (hypermotility, GI distress). Treatment consists of emptying the gut after recent oral ingestion and then monitoring and treating electrolyte and water balance abnormalities supportively. Please give me an update on your doxi.
