Hi, I'm Dr. Vaino! Please clarify what breed (gsp?) My first thought was that he could have a cleft palate, which would cause a hole between his mouth and his nasal passages. Have you taken a peek in there and looked at his hard (upper) palate? If it's OK, then I'd say that sometimes, especially with very young babies, they commonly don't swallow correctly at first and it's common for some milk to come up out of the nose, especially if you're syringe feeding him and not bottle feeding.
