Customer Question

My 22lb dog ate two over the counter potassium pills. Will this hurt her? On the front of the bottle it says Potassium Gluconate 595 mg. On the back it says Potassium 99 mg 3% (from 595 mg Potassium Gluconate). This is per caplet.
Under ingredients it says
Potassium Gluconate
Stearic Acid
Magnesium Stearate

Please don't be alarmed. A one-time oral ingestion of such a small dose of potassium will go unnoticed by Lulu and you. I might use this salt as a substitute for sodium chloride in heart patients and for potassium-losing kidney disease.

Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.

It's my pleasure. Don't be surprised if Lulu drinks excessively for a few hours. I can't set a follow-up in this venue so please return to our conversation with an update - even after rating - at your convenience.
