Female mini dachshund 13 yrs old Not eating regularly - 14

Customer Question

female mini dachshund 13 yrs old
Not eating regularly for 10 - 14 days.
At first she was drinking a lot and relieving urine normally.
About a week ago she started to need to be wiped after b.m.. Now for the last couple days, she vomits any water she drinks, along with mucus. This afternoon she seems not to have control of her bowels. Dark brown mucus excretion, with also liquid.
She is blind, since June, however, she had adapted to that. Very listless now.
Do you think this is non-fatal. I can't bear her suffering.

Welcome and thanks for asking your question. My name is***** am a licensed veterinarian. I am currently not set up to make a live call. But, I am happy to answer your question on this thread. First I need to ask you a few questions so that I can be well informed and give you the best advice.

1- Is it fair to say she was drinking more than usual?

2- How much does she weigh?
