Hello, this is Dr. Linda. I hope I can help with your question today.

I am sorry that you are having some skin issues with your dog, Storm. I will assume that since he was seen by your veterinarian, that any underlying medical problems, such as skin mites, a bacterial or yeast infections, have been ruled out.

If not, please let me know what tests, exams, or bloodwork were conducted for your veterinarian to conclude that Storm has a skin sensitivity. For example, did he do any skin scrapes, use a Woods Light (Blacklight ), check for dermatophytes ( fungal elements ), etc.

I would also like to know what recommendations your veterinarian has made regarding his skin, if any, besides using the oatmeal shampoo.

There are quite a few things that can be done to help decrease skin sensitivities.

Thank you.
