Customer Question

I'm a veterinarian technician and I have a dog whose blood sugar is reading high on the glucometer what can she do at home to try and bring the blood sugar down

Only two things will lower blood sugar - increasing the insulin dose or limiting food intake. One reading won't be enough to know if you need to do either. I need a thorough history of the dog's glycemic control or, at the least, a recent glucose curve performed over 12-24 hours. Please respond with additional information and further questions or concerns if you wish.
