Where was the yeast found, please? If you're concerned about skin yeast (Malassezia), ketoconazole dosed at 5 mg/lb once daily for a month should be effective. Shampooing twice weekly in a ketoconazole-, clotrimazole-, or miconazole-containing shampoo can hasten remission. The ketoconazole is a prescription drug which Shadow's vet would need to prescribe. The shampoos can be found over the counter or at Shadow's vet hospital.
