Customer Question

We just got out Mini Australian Shepherd yesterday. He is 8 weeks. Yesterday he was excited and hyper. Today he seems a bit more lazy. He isn't throwing up, he doesn't have diarrhea and he seems to be eating the usual amount. Should I be concerned with the laziness he has?

Thank you for your question, I'm Dr. Dan and I'll try to help you. At this point I'd not be too concerned. As long as he's eating, drinking, and no vomiting or diarrhea i think we can wait this out. It's very possible that the transition to a new home, the travel and the excited activity yesterday has made him tired! If he is not back to his normal self when tomorrow morning comes or he starts any of the symptoms we mentioned previously then you should be concerned enough to set up a vet visit. I hope this helps, if not please feel free to ask more questions. Dr. Dan
