My name is***** and I am sorry to hear that Lollipop has this lesion in her eye.

Can you send a picture of the eye? It would really be helpful to see the larva.

Based on your description, I would wonder about maggots under her eyelid. These are uncommon but can happen, especially if a dog doesn't have their hair groomed regularly and has tears, hair and debris built up around the eye.

I would strongly recommend taking her to your regular vet in the morning for an exam. Your vet will be able to look under her lids and get her eyes cleaned up well.

Best regards, ***** ***** this answer helps you.

How is Lollipop this evening? Were you able to take her to your vet today to have them examine her eye?
