Hi this is Dr. Gabby. Unfortunately the only over the counter pain medication that can be given to dogs is aspirin. But, you can not give aspirin with prednisone because it can cause gastrotinestinal ulceration.

So, she will need to get an opiate type medication, such as Tramadol, from her vet in the morning.

For tonight, you can hold an ice pack on the tumors for 20 minute intervals each hour.

Topically you could apply over the counter "neosporin plus." It has has topical pain medication in it.

Arnica cream is a homeopathic topical pain medication as well. They sell it at some drug stores, Walmart, and health food stores. You can apply it every few hours.

I hope this helps. If you have any additional questions please reply. Many Thanks.
