My 9 yr old Havanese didn't wake up as her normal cheerful

Customer Question

My 9 yr old Havanese didn't wake up as her normal cheerful self. She doesn't want to walk and is protecting her hind quarters. She went back to her dog bed on the floor( which she never stays in). She acted this way several years ago when she was constipated with a bladder infection. She also has had an cal repair a year ago.

Hello, I am Dr RB and I a small animal veterinarian. Is Juliet spending a lot of time in the litter box, either attempting to defecate or urinating small amounts? Has her drinking been increased lately?
